About HomeCare Hospice

HomeCare Hospice has been serving patients for over 20 years in the Jackson, New Albany, and Hattiesburg areas. Since our founding, we have created a reputation as being a leading provider of hospice and palliative care service throughout the state of Mississippi. At HomeCare Hospice, we are and remain to be a truly patient-centered organization who provides services wherever the patient calls home.

HomeCare Hospice is a Mississippi-based palliative care provider. However, our hospice services are not limited to the cities where our offices are located throughout the communities. With offices based in Jackson, Hattiesburg, New Albany and Gulfport, we have the ability to travel and care for Mississippians throughout most of the state. Through our work to support the health care community and dedication to serving the state of Mississippi, it is no surprise that HomeCare Hospice has become known for the  excellence of hospice and palliative care that we provide.

What is Hospice or Palliative Care?

Hospice and palliative care is the treatment to help a terminal patient live as well as possible by increasing their quality of life. They help address and ease the hardships of symptom management, psycho-social, and spiritual affliction that affects both the patient and their family. By shifting focus towards increasing the quality of life of the patient rather than the longevity of life, patients and families alike have a chance to find peace of mind to focus on the present moment.

The team at HomeCare Hospice includes physicians, nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), Chaplains, trained volunteers, therapists, social workers, and more – all who are seasoned professionals.
