Providing the heart in hospice care.
HomeCare Hospice began in Sebastopol, Mississippi, and admitted its first patient in December of 2002. Now with offices in Jackson, Hattiesburg, and New Albany, HomeCare’s services extend to most of the state where we are known as “the little hospice with the big heart.” Our team includes physicians, therapists, nurses, counselors, and social workers, all of whom are prepared to help with the medical and emotional demands that hospice entails. We recognize how difficult this time can be for patients and their families, but we hope to ease any physical or emotional pain with our high-quality care and attention to the comfort and dignity of our patients. Our staff is only a phone call away twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week including holidays. Please contact one of our offices near you with any concerns or questions.
What is Hospice?
Hospice is a specialized program that offers care by focusing on comfort and quality of life by helping patients and families with their medical, emotional and spiritual needs. Even when medicine cannot provide a cure, we believe there is always more that can be done to ease suffering, protect dignity, and respect individual choice.
